Classes / Private Training

All GKG classes provide essential combat skills, but they are also designed to enhance balance, core strength, muscle endurance and toning. No matter your level of fitness and skill, you can do these workouts. We train like athletes, but we also emphasize the importance of listening to our bodies. All workouts can be modified to your individual abilities. Short periods of rest and rehydration are encouraged during the class. This ensures you stay safe, but still maximizes the effects of the workout. The coach will offer variations of each exercise performed and will focus on breaking down techniques to help with your fundamentals.

Group Class
Kickboxing/Boxing

Our 60-minute kickboxing/boxing classes focus on all aspects of fitness. We go through a series of striking combinations led by the coach. All hitting is done on your own heavy bag where you will learn a variety of attacks, all demonstrated and explained by the instructor. In-between rounds you will do a series of body-weight exercises. Coaches offer variations so workouts can be modified to match individual abilities. No matter your fitness level and skill, you can do this workout. We train like athletes, but we also stress the importance of listening to our bodies to stay safe.

Strap Kickboxing

This is a hybrid class in which we use suspension straps for muscle endurance training combined with kickboxing. The coach will lead the class through a series of workouts using the straps, breaking down specific muscle groups for each round. We will alternate strap rounds with kickboxing rounds, so we keep moving and maintain high energy. Short periods of rest are encouraged during the class. This ensures you stay safe while still maximizing the effects of the workout. The coach offers variations of each exercise performed. Any workout can be modified to suit individual needs. This is a great class to help enhance balance, core strength, muscle endurance and toning.

GKG TRAINING CAMP

(GKG Training Camp membership only) The GKG training camp is a carefully structured program that delivers maximum results every step of the way. It’s entirely focused on strength training, muscle endurance and overall body symmetry. It combines weights, machines and exercise equipment to provide optimal impact and is done under the thoughtful supervision of a GKG professional coach. In this class you will train like an athlete and feel like a champion! The training camp workout will help you reach 100% of your athletic performance goals.

Art Of 8 Muay Thai

Muay Thai is the art of 8 limbs. You will learn the fundamentals of striking using hands, elbows, knees and shins creating a very complete martial art. You will enhance your skillset while training in a very safe and controlled environment with full supervision by the coach. This class is for all levels of fitness and experience but is limited to ages 13 and above.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art whose central theme is the skill of controlling a resisting opponent. You learn to not only control somebody on the ground but also how to take them down by using numerous techniques including takedowns, throws, trips and sweeps. You will develop a series of submissions that are extremely valuable to know and are very useful. GKG is an official affiliate school of Novaes Jiu Jitsu Academy. This class is for ages 15 and above.

Kids Class

This class will combine circuit training using workout equipment and kickboxing, they will be training just like athletes. We will be teaching about Respect, Discipline, Team Work and of course Technical Kickboxing. Age group is 7-12 years old and the class is 50 minutes long.

Private Training
1-On-1 Training

There is no substitute for a great private coach — someone who can break down the fundamentals and teach you the thinking behind the moves. There is no substitute for a workout tailored to your specific needs. You and your private coach will discuss your goals, then determine the right mix of activities and frequency to effectively hit those goals. Do you want to focus on speed and agility, strength and conditioning, self defense, sparring or specialty kicks? No matter your goals, private training can help you achieve results quickly and can build confidence that extends beyond the gym. Our coaches inspire you to become the champion you want to be. Self-Guided
Open Gym

All our memberships include unlimited classes plus unrestricted open gym time. Come in and work out at your own pace. We have treadmill and elliptical machines, a suite of free-weights, plus a wide assortment of body-weight training equipment. Open gym provides a great supplement to group classes especially when you’re striving to strengthen specific parts of your body. Need help creating a personal workout?
